Safety Guidelines
We want everyone to have a fun and safe time picking with us! Please see our safety guidelines below before visiting the farm.
Please drive slowly! Our main road is narrow and there are often children present as well as customers crossing between the berry fields and their cars.
We do not allow pets at The Berry Patch. Please leave them at home!
We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes to the farm. While at The Berry Patch you may encounter uneven ground, mud, gopher holes, etc. We do our best to keep the farm as safe as possible, but this is a working farm so shoes that protect your feet are best!
Don’t forget sunscreen! There is not much shade at the farm.
We close for lightning. We have a metal irrigation system which makes being in the fields dangerous if there is risk of lightning. If lightning occurs while you are at the farm, please exit the field as quickly as possible.
We love having children of all ages visit The Berry Patch and encourage you to bring the whole family to enjoy berry picking! We do ask that all children who come to the farm are well supervised at all times.
